What to expect from Apple WWDC 2024
Since the conference is mostly focused on software, hardware upgrades are rare. (You’ll probably have to wait to learn about the new iPhone until Apple’s much-anticipated fall event.) The introduction of the Vision Pro at the developers conference last year was a noteworthy exception. Apple is probably going to emphasize showcasing its software capabilities and AI-powered improvements this year, based on reports and conjecture.
Apple AI Intelligence

AI-packed chips
Without discussing chips, WWDC wouldn’t be the same. Presumably, the A18 CPU, which will power the upcoming iPhone, will be revealed. Better AI performance is anticipated, surprise!, according to analyst Jeff Pu and Taiwanese news portal Economic Daily News. This would be consistent with the new M4 CPUs that Apple has included in its redesigned iPad Pro tablets, which it claims are more potent and effective and have enhanced machine learning for applications using artificial intelligence.
